The Regional competition will adhere to the following format:
Best-of-Three (BO3) Swiss System
- Athletes meet one-on-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each player plays opponents with a similar running score but does not play the same opponent more than once. The matches of the first round will be played by draw, and the schedule will be published before the start of the tournament.
- The matches will be played in a Best-of-Three (BO3) format; VERSUS, 99 seconds, 2/3 Rounds, where the winner is the first athlete to win two games.
- Points will be awarded for each match, with one (1) point awarded for a win, zero (0) points for a loss, and one (1) point awarded for a bye.
- Tiebreaker Rules: If two or more participants are tied with the same match wins at the end of the Swiss Round, their ranking order will be decided as per below:
- Net game wins
- Single Game Tiebreaker Match
